Coco is a 3 1/2 year old hound mix that was recently surrendered back to us when her owner could no longer care for her. This sweet girl needs a patient and understanding adopter as she takes a little time to adjust to her new environment. She is house trained and very affectionate once she is comfortable.

We don't know if she can be left free to roam when unattended, so Coco is crated when her foster mom is out.  She crates well but will occasionally shred the dog beds inside the crate  Coco loves to curl up on the couch or in an open crate, and will either sleep on a couch or in bed with her foster mom. She loves car rides and walks. She is protective of her home, and alerts her humans if anyone or another animal is outside.

Coco appears to do well with other dogs, but would probably be fine as an only pup. Coco is uneasy with new people, particularly men. It takes a few visits from people for her to become comfortable with them.
