Lewis is a fun, playful 6 month old doberman-lab mix who was found on the streets as a stray.  This boy is very happy and extremely loving.  He is not shy and approaches everyone he meets in a very friendly manner.  Caution - he cannot control his licker!  If you bend down to pet him, he will smother you with kisses.  

Lewis is doing well walking on a leash, but has been known to try to tackle his foster canine siblings while they are out on walks together.  He has not been child tested, but the personality traits he has shown tells us he would be wonderful with kids. He has not been cat tested.  He's doing great learning words like come and go outside and is working on mastering the "sit" command.

While he protests for a few minutes when going into his crate or blocked off room, he settles within 5-10 minutes.  He sometimes entertains himself by quietly chewing on approved toys or bones. He can easily go all day without having an accident while his foster mom is at work.  

A typical curious puppy, he likes to grab everything with his mouth. He'll need good supervision to make sure he does re-decorate your belongings or ingest anything you have out in the house.  He does not guard his food, but he does try really hard to get his canine siblings to share their food with him...whether they want to or not.
