Hershey is a sweet, young Doberman mix boy.  He was found as a stray together with Reese, both were very skinny and found to be heartworm positive.  He is approximately 1-2 years old. 

At first, Hershey was scared of everything and everyone.  Thanks to a lot of TLC and love from his foster family, he has blossomed beautifully.  He is friendly and affectionate with everyone he meets.  However, he can be overwhelmed so no small children, please. 

Hershey gets along wonderfully with cats and dogs of all sizes.  He is such a puppy at heart!  Hershey loves to play and goof around with the other dogs in his foster home.   He is good in the crate but prefers to be with his people, especially liking to cuddle in bed with them. He will sleep with his head on your pillow and shoulder if you allow him to.

Hershey is just an all-around good dog.  He is well behaved in the home and has not tried to chew or redecorate anything.  He does well on the leash, and is working on basic commands.  And he sure loves television!  He'll sit and watch the TV if there is something that is interesting to him.
