4 Year old Mitzi found herself in rescue when her owner felt he didn't have enough time available to properly care for her. Mitzi is quite comfortable with her plump figure, tipping the scale at just over 100 pounds. But her inner svelte self is starting to materialize and she is slowly, safely dropping in weight. At one time she loved running along side as her owner rode his bike, and we know this sweet blue girl will get back to her running days this summer! Mitzi is great walking on the leash, and doesn't pull at all. She's a true couch potato that LOVES to cuddle with her humans. She does well in the crate, but does just fine being free in the house without worry. She is completely house trained, going out in the yard to do her business and coming right back in. She does love riding in the car! Mitzi took a few days to adjust and warm up to her dober brothers and sisters in her foster home. She is said to not like small dogs and has not been cat tested. She is just fine with children. Mitzi knows her basic commands. Mitzi loves everyone she meets and will be a great companion. She's ready to choose her forever family...is it yours?
