Duke is a handsome, 5 year old Australian Shepherd mix.  Sadly, his owner passed away recently from cancer, leaving him in need of a new home.  Fortunately for Duke, his owner's family member is a volunteer with Doberman Underground, and we are happy to help Duke find his new home.  

Duke is a sweet boy that is very playful.  He's a great partner for running or hiking.  Duke is good with dogs of similar size and also good with kids.  He knows commands like sit, stay and down and is completely house trained.  He loves riding in the car.  True to the breed, he has a very high prey drive so no small dogs or cats for this boy.  He will need a fence to keep him safe, but it can be an underground fence which he is well trained on,  He will make an excellent playmate for a canine companion, but will also do well as an only dog.
