Autumn is a 6 year old girl whose red color matches the beauty of the fall leaves. This sweet girl spent 3 months in a shelter after being surrendered by her owners.
Autumn is completely housebroken and absolutely loves people. She refuses to go into a crate, but fortunately she does not need one and is respectful of your household goods! She's getting along great with the large, calmer Dobermans in her foster home. She's not very fond 1 year old foster sibling dog that has high energy, so her only 4-legged companions will be large and calm. Autumn has a high prey drive and will not be placed in a home with small dogs or cats. Once she's outside she doesn't want to come in right away as she looks for prey in the yard and trees. She'll need a physical fence to keep her from running off after critters.
Autumn is okay with basic obedience commands but needs work on leash as she does like to pull. She's good with older children. She does seem restless in the car and whines. She was likely never treated to excursions by her previous owners. They did note that she is afraid of fireworks as well.
Autumn is ready to choose her forever home. Is it yours? Apply today! www.DUdobes.org
