Nicklaus is a handsome 2-year old red boy who found himself in rescue when his owners were moving and had no plans to take him with them.  Luckily a friend that follows Doberman Underground intervened and he was surrendered to us instead of the shelter...just in the "Nick" of time!

Nicklaus is a soft, sweet boy that would have just shut down in a shelter.  He's a follower who would do very well with a more assertive canine companion, and does not seem to have any issues with male or female dogs.  Nicklaus has been around kids 10 and older so far, and has been very friendly with them.

Nicklaus is timid and shy and will need a little love and patience as he settles in with his new family.  He is potty trained, but had some poop issues from nerves when he first arrived at his foster home.  Nicklaus knows very basic commands.  He's a smart boy that will learn very quickly.  He loves to ride in the car.  A typical youngster, he'll need a fence of any type to keep him safe at play in the yard.
