Skylar is one of the three females we rescued when their elderly owners were too ill to care for them any longer.  It's clear this 8 year old girl was kept mostly for breeding purposes.  

Skylar is calm and sweet.  It appears she lived most of her life inside, possibly in a pen, and her foster family is patiently working on outdoor potty training.  This easy going girl is good with kids, cats and other dogs.  She wants to keep close to home and does not require a fence.  She takes inexpensive thyroid meds to keep her healthy. 

Skylar has not experienced stairs, so she is very uncertain of them right now.  She rides nicely and quietly in the car, but really she is a true couch potato!  She thrives on attention from her humans and she is getting lots of affection.  She loves treats so much and very gently takes them from your hand.
