Royce is a 3 year old all natural albino boy that originally came from a rescue in Texas. He was returned to us by his adopter through no fault of his own.  While young pups are so cute and fun, they are a LOT of work.  They need ongoing training, lots of exercise and mental stimulation.  They also need structure and boundaries so they learn how to be good canine citizens.  If you allow them to run wild and rule the roost, it will not end well.  

Training has made a world of difference for Royce since he came back into our care.  Royce is now fully potty trained and consistently responds to multiple commands, including sit, come, break, heel and place.  He walks well on leash and has started some off leash training.  His adopter will be required to attend training with him, a requirement for all of our adopters.  This will ensure that Royce and his new family are set up for success!  

Royce plays well with other canines, but he does have some food/toy aggression with dogs.  He can have play dates with other dogs, and the need for socialization is critical.  But he will need to live in a home as an only pet - no dogs or cats.  He has been living with a toddler and doing very well.  He's a young boy with a lot of energy, so he'll need a fenced yard to keep him safe.  He could be trained with an invisible fence if not a physical one.

Car rides are on the top of Royce's list of fun things to do.  He'll be happy to go everywhere with you.  He will need limited exposure to the sun, so shady places are best for him.
