Presley was found as a stray, emaciated and limping.  We got a call from the shelter and immediately stepped in to help her.  Our best guess is that Presley is under 2 and was clearly hurt while on the run.  She doesn’t have any visible injuries so we have no way of knowing what happened to her or how long ago she was injured.  Right now Presley is taking Rimadyl to manage her discomfort while we determine the best medical path to treat her.

Presley is a bubbly, velcro girl that wants nothing more than to be with her humans.  This gorgeous girl is very loving and highly food motivated, which will make her very easy to train.  She is completely housetrained and is good with kids and cats!  Presley likes other dogs, but she is the queen so she'll need canine companions that are not dominant.  After foraging for food while on the run, she is understandably possessive of her food and toys, but she listens well and will do well with training as she settles in to her forever home.  She will need a physical fence to give her a safe place to run and play.
