Peanut is a sweet 18 month old dobie mix.  She was surrendered to a shelter in the south that was beyond full.  Pregnant and homeless, the shelter reached out to us.  Doberman Underground to the rescue! Peanut had 4 sweet puppies that have all been adopted.  Now it's time for this momma to pick her own forever home.  

Peanut is a medium-sized girl, about 45 pounds.  She may have some herding breed in her, as she really likes to round things up.  She's good with other dogs, but needs a warming up period.  She is possessive of her food.  This sweet girl is timid, but not fearful, of sudden movements.  She's a bit of an escape artist, so she'll need a physical fence to keep her safe in the yard.

Peanut's foster mom says she is a joy to be around!  When she talks to her and gets her excited, she's extremely happy and playful.  She loves humans and wants to be with them always.  Peanut hates to be crated.  She does like to re-decorate things when left alone.  She doesn't destroy them, she just likes to move things around like blankets and towels.
