Melody is a sweet, two year old girl, a special blend of what we think is Shepard and Hound.  Melody  was rescued from a hoarder case with 10 other dogs where she was saved from terrible living conditions.  Thankfully, Melody is thriving in her foster home.  She's learning how wonderful it is to play and simply be a dog!

Melody is shy when you first meet her but with a snack in hand she will be your best friend quickly.  Her foster home has been teaching her basic commands like sit, stay and come.  Everything in the world is new to Melody and she is uncertain at first but she will take on the challenge and with your encouragement she will thrive and learn. 

She does great with dogs of all sizes and you will often find her snoozing with the cats in the house.   Melody likes a quieter home but would do well with older considerate children.

Melody is quiet and a pro at snuggling once she warms up to you.  She is really loving human touch and is super velcro, always trying to get as much attention as she can.  She'll love to climb in your lap or lean right into your chest.  She'll sleep in bed with you if you let her.  She loves toys to death...literally.  No stuffy has survived in her care!  Surprisingly, despite where Melody came from she has very good house skills and does not need to be crated.
