Kiwi is a sweet, two year old girl, a special blend of Border Collie and Shepherd.  Kiwi was rescued from a hoarder case with 10 other dogs where she was found tied outside to a car, which proved to be her only shelter from the elements.  

Kiwi is a gentle, easy going girl that has come a very long way in a short time.  She is completely house trained.  Her foster mom is teaching her the sit and down commands and Kiwi is doing great with training.  She can sometimes be afraid and will submissively cower or roll on her back but she is gaining confidence with each passing day!  At first, Kiwi was afraid of toys, but now she loves stuffies "to death" and shreds them all up.  

Kiwi is a very loving, smart girl who now wags her tail non-stop now and loves to be with people.  She would do well with a calmer canine companion of any size, but has not been cat tested.  Small children would be too much commotion for her, but she should be fine with older, respectful kids.  Kiwi needs a yard with a physical fence to give her a safe place to play where she cannot run off.
