Murray is a two year red boy that found himself in rescue when his owners moved in with relatives and the resident dog was less than welcoming to him.  He's house trained and has great manners in the home!  He is crate trained but may not need to be crated when left alone.

Weighing in at a svelte 80 pounds, Murray is a big, strong boy.  He doesn't have a clue about his size, so only kids 10 and over would be suitable for him.  He's a good learner and already knows sit and down.  He needs work on attention and leash manners. He loves car rides and is a great travel companion.  He doesn't bark often, but when he does, he's definitely a baritone!  

While is is doing okay with the big dogs in his foster home, he takes time to adjust to other dogs.  He does like to get his nose all up close and personal to sniff other dogs, but now that he's neutered we expect that may decrease over the coming months.  He will do best as an only dog or paired with a submissive female companion.  No small dogs and no cats. 

Murray will need a fenced yard.  He had been trained with an invisible fence at his previous home and will do fine with that.  He takes inexpensive thyroid medicine to keep him healthy.
