LA Dog
Nola is a pretty, red 4 year old Doberman that came to us with several other dogs rescued from a "hobby breeder" in Louisiana. She tested heartworm positive, and it's clear life didn't start out well for her, but then it was Doberman Underground to the rescue! Nola has completed her heartworm treatments and will never have to be used for breeding again! Her foster mom tells us that despite her previous living arrangements, Nola has adjusted very well to the good life. However, she will need time to settle in when she finds her forever home. Nola gets along well with the large and small dogs in her foster home and seems to be tolerant of cats. Kids must be 12 or older, as the commotion of younger children would be too much for her. Her adopter must have a physical fence around the entire yard AND a door that leads directly from the house into the fenced area. No exceptions. If you are interested in adopting Nola, submit an application at www.DUdobes.org NOTE: You must be an approved adopter to be considered for any of our dogs. We cannot tell if you are a good match for any dog until we have all the information we need to approve you for adoption. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * More about Nola - Norma JeanGood with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Older/Considerate Kids Only, Good with Adults, Quiet, Does Good in the Car, Requires a yard, Timid, Affectionate, Intelligent Other Pictures of Nola - Norma Jean (click to see larger version):
