Reagan is a beautiful 5 year old girl that has overcome so much in her life!  She was running in the woods and got her leg caught in a trap.  Reagan chewed off her leg to free herself and was found with the bloody stump.  Sadly that wasn't Reagan's only problem.  She had a mass on her stomach, was Heartworm positive and her teeth are in terrible condition.

Reagan arrived in our care in October 2021 and our vet determined the best treatment plan for her.  
- November: Heartworm treatment completed
- December : Mass on her stomach removed and found out it was NOT mammary cancer 
- January: Removal of the damaged rear leg.  She is getting around so well now that she doesn't have the stump in her way!
- February:  Scheduled for teeth extraction and cleaning

Reagan is now ready to find her forever home.  She's a strong-willed, dominant girl...stubborn with an attitude, and a TON of potential!  Reagan needs an experienced Doberman owner with time and patience to help her reach her full potential.  She's learning to live indoors and potty training is a work in progress.  She's picky about her canine companions.  She would love to be the only dog to get all the attention, but she could do fine with a submissive male or small dogs.  Absolutely no cats.  She has not been around children, so we will only place her if children are 13 or older. A yard with a physical fence is required.
