Lizzy is a 4 year old girl that was found tied to a tree, emaciated and heartworm positive.  She likely had a fairly recent litter of puppies before being found, but was so malnourished her milk was already dried up.  

Lizzy's foster mom says she is a total princess and a professional cuddler.  She watches over the two young children in the house and just adores them.  She's friendly with people, but unsure of men and anyone she doesn't know.  With a little time and patience she warms up to everyone.  Lizzy is good with other dogs and will do well after she has time to get to know and trust them.  She has a high prey drive, so squirrels won't be hanging around your backyard!  She "likes" cats too much and so she will not be able to live with them.  

Lizzy already knows basic like sit, down and come.  She is a very smart girl who will excel with training!  She is very treat motivated and loves to play mental games, especially when there is a reward.  She loves any and all toys and can't get enough of them.  Lizzy is learning house manners but does like to counter surf.  A child-proof trash can is a must while she is learning!
