Haven is a 1.5 year old girl who was surrendered when her owners whose original intent was to breed this girl. Lucky for Haven this is in her past and there will be no puppies in her future.

 

Haven has led a sheltered life but as she has settled into her foster home her confidence in the outside world is gaining. Haven is very sweet and good with people. It is obvious that she had not been around other dogs and she is hesitant when with them. We do think Haven would be fine as an only dog or living with an older calm dog. She is learning basic commands and has excellent recall. She's a young girl that needs a yard to run and play, but she will not require a fence.

 

Haven's foster mom tells us she is well-behaved and fun loving. She enjoys riding in the car and being your constant companion. She is cautious meeting other dogs, but could do well with a very calm, large canine companion. No small dogs, no cats. We don't know how she would do with very small children, so kids 10 and older only.
