Mooney has had a rough start in life, but he hasn't let it make him blue. He's still wishing on his shooting star and believing his family will find him and make all his wishes come true.

Mooney has been abused, hit by a car, abandoned, and dumped. He's been in at least three homes we know of, but none of them were able to give Mooney the time, attention, and love he deserves. Despite all this, he still loves everyone he meets and wants to snuggle and cuddle. He likes people and dogs, but he is not safe with cats.  

Mooney would love to have a stay at home family member, human or canine, as he can have some separation anxiety. This is not surprising considering how many times he has been separated from everyone and everything he knows. Mooney will probably take some time to really settle in and believe that this time can be forever.

Mooney is seven years old and he is a blue. He does have a sparse coat, which is very common in blue Dobes. He is on fish oil to help his coat. Mooney is house-trained, rides great in the car, knows sit, shake, and stay. One of the benefits of a mature Doberman is that they already have great house manners!
