Richard was found wandering up to some strangers at a local feed store, tired and dejected. This gentle soul was taken to the shelter, but no one came forward to claim him. Doberman Underground got the call and thanks to transport volunteers he traveled long and far to get to us! Richard is about 5-6 years old. He was treated for Demodex Mange and is doing so well that he is now ready for choose his forever home. A real ladies man, Richard does fine with men but really loves his women and becomes very attached and velcro to them. He's a gentle boy that is good with kids of all ages. He also likes bossy female dogs, and will do best with this companionship. He just loves to run and play with his foster sister! He has not been tested with small dogs or cats. Richard loves car rides and long walks in the park. He does well on leash and learns commands very quickly, like sit, stay and leave it. He's eager to please and will love going to training with his adopter. He's moderately active, and crates nicely, but daily yard zoomies are a must! He'll need a fenced yard to give him a safe place to play. He loves bath time and doesn't mind getting his nails done with a dremel.
