Garnet is a 3 year old Melanistic Doberman that was confiscated from a backyard breeder / hoarder in Georgia.  He's a sweet, shy boy that loves to cuddle with his humans.

Garnet has come out of his shell being in a foster home and loves playing with the other dogs in the home and those that visit.   He is shy at first when meeting strangers but within minutes comes up and does the Doberman lean and wants to be petted.    Garnet and his foster mom have been going to training classes and he knows all his basic commands and is a regular at Home Depot.    

Garnet is a typical Doberman youngster with a LOT of energy.  He'll need a yard with a physical fence that provides a safe place for zoomies.  He gets along with dogs of all sizes and is also good with kids.  He has been living with two cats.  Garnet will do best with a companion dog of his own size that he can run and play and wrestle with.  He does well being crated when left alone and that will safe your pillows from certain death.  He will snuggle with you on the couch and is oh so affectionate.  He does like to play "BOOP" with his nose and has been known to play keep away with socks.  You won't have to wonder where he is because he will follow you all around the house, everywhere you go!
