Selene was found as a stray, emaciated and suffering from one of the worst cases of Demodex we have ever seen. She's a young girl, about 11 months, and her spirit is strong. Today she is a happy, healthy girl lookin for her forever family!

Now that she is healed, her true personality just shines. Selene is a total snuggler. She wants all the love from her humans and gives back 10 times that in return. She has protected her foster mom from countless dangerous squirrels, and no delivery drivers come by without her announcing their arrival. Once she has saved the day, she's happy to curl up in your lap for a nice nap.

Selene is a typical young Doberman with lots of energy. She's perfect for an active adopter that will take her for daily walks. She's also a good running partner. She has been well socialized, making trips to the store and is friendly when meeting adults and kids. Older kids would be great, but she has too much energy in puppy play mode for small kids. S he's even learning that the chickens on the farm are not to be chased.

She's good with dogs and cats and would really love to have a canine playmate that can engage with her energetic play. Treats are an excellent motivator, and she will excel at obedience training. She would also be a good candidate for agility! She already knows basic commands, including come, place, sit and off.
