Ken and his 2 siblings were found on the side of the road where they were dumped. All 3 were emaciated, weighing less than 40 pounds, and very sick with parvo. Today, Ken is a happy, healthy boy, one year old. He's a typical Doberman youngster who loves to run and play hard! Once he's had his exercise, he will chill out and relax. He does well in the crate and is learning to walk nicely on leash. Ken is very smart and a quick learner. He does well with "sit" and his foster mom is teaching him more commands. He's still a puppy and will grab things to start a game of keep away. Ken will need a yard to run and play with a physical fence to keep him safely contained. When he's not romping the yard, he loves to watch television, especially if there are other dogs on the screen to entertain him. He packs a lot of strength in his slim frame. Small children would be easily knocked over by him, but older kids will be fine. He would do well with a large canine companion that is more laid back and able to handle his rough play. He has not been around small dogs or cats, but given his high prey drive he would not be a good match for either. If you are an active, experienced Doberman or working breed owner looking for the perfect youngster, Ken will be perfect for you!
