Annabelle came to rescue when her owner passed away. She just turned 8 and is still spunky! Squeaky toys are her favorite and she enjoys bones, too. She loves to run zoomies in the yard and short walks make her happy. This big girl is clearly not aware of her size as she loves to lay in your lap and lean on her humans. She loves all people and would be fine with older kids, but she's a very large girl so small children wouldn't be a good fit. Annabelle is going through training classes currently to brush up on her leash skills and recall, so a yard of any sort will work. She has all her basic commands mastered sit, stay, leave it, down and come. She thrives on routine and will need that structure in her new home. She listens well to correction as needed. She really wants to please her people and hasn't met a stranger she didn't like. She has grown up as an only dog and enjoys the company of her people. Annabelle is opt to compatible adopters. She also qualifies for our SOS (Seniors Owning Seniors) program for experienced Doberman owners ages 70 or older that adopt a dog aged 7 or older. This program pays for annual vetting for the SOS dog. Annabelle is ready to find her forever home. Is it yours?
