Clifford is a friendly, outgoing 1 year old red Doberman.  He had a rough start to life,  “sold or given away” on Craigslist at the age of 3 months. Then for the next 6 months lived on a chain where he was not treated well by his owners. Now that he's with Doberman Underground, he is a happy, healthy young boy who absolutely loves his people and everyone he meets.

Clifford has two speeds...zero and 60! He loves to be on the couch watching TV and then happily curls up in bed to read with you. He is the poster boy for velcro Dobermans! He knows that when he's touching his humans, he feels safe. He wants to go everywhere with his foster family and quickly develops a strong bond with everyone that shows him love. A typical youngster, he runs and plays hard with the female Doberman in the home. He needs a fenced yard for zoomies and play time. He is somewhat dominant, but takes correction well from the Dobermans at his foster home. He's a big, strong boy so he would do best with larger canine playmates. He can be rambunctious like any young Doberman, but older kids in the home would be fine playmates and training partners for Cifford!

Smart doesn't begin to describe Clifford. He learns commands quickly, although he can be headstrong and try to get his way in typical Doberman fashion. He will test you, so he'll need a strong leader. But he's a soft boy and will not do well with any harsh treatment. Verbal correction and patience is the key.

Experienced Doberman owners will absolutely love this boy! He'll do best with an owner that works from home or is home a lot. He's accepting the crate for a couple of hours at a time but he is not a fan of being separated from his owner for long stretches. He's ready to join his forever family and live his best life.
