 Bear is doing amazing. He loves every human and dog he meets. He is a true velcro dog, pushing up against people with his head and body. He enjoys car rides and going on 2 mile walks every morning. He needs work on a leash, but that's his Mama's fault. He picks and chooses when he sleeps in bed, but always has to sleep in the same room as his Mama. He enjoys being outside but comes back in around 98% of the time when called. He loses his mind when he sees cats, squirrels and rabbits on his walks. He also does bark and run around like crazy when the neighbors come and go in their vehicles. He appears to be allergic to chicken. Bear is a lovable and amazing addition to his home!!  We're celebrating our three year Mandy-versary!!! This big girl is such a sweetheart. She has come out of her shell and realized that the world isn't as scary as it was in her old life. She is still cautious around strangers and uses her piercing stare to keep them at a safe distance, which works quite well! Under that intimidating exterior though, she's the typical Dobie goofball who keeps us laughing every day. She still has a quirky opinion about her personal space and will unfortunately never be a snuggler, but now enjoys getting pet all over and even backs up to us so she can have her tail scratched. A few gray hairs are starting to show on her muzzle which add to her distinguished stature.
She chooses "her people" after a long and methodical interview process, but once you make the cut she won't leave your side and uses expert poke-you-in-the-armpit skills to make sure you know she's ready for some love. She is really good with other dogs and even cats! She fence-plays with the Husky next door, rolls around in the grass with the Golden Retriever across the street, and really likes to play with the 8 pound Pug-Tsu on the corner. So gentle with the smaller creatures.
She loves riding in the car, basking in the sunshine, chasing squirrels in the backyard, and our almost-daily walks and hikes. And as you can see from the photo, she is also an excellent yoga instructor while "sharing" my yoga mat with me. The GPS tracker on her collar (in case she ever gets loose) notified us yesterday that she has walked 1,000 miles!! If only it tracked how many times she stopped to pee on things during those 1,000 miles...wait, no, I don't think I want to know.
 Sophie is doing great. Her potty training has been a little slow but she just went an entire week without an accident.ð. She loves a red ball I gave her and we play fetch everyday day she LOVES it. She and Buddy are getting along well to, they play together everyday. She can sit, lay down, shake and stay, is doing well on a leash, but the covid19 has interrupted her training. I donât think I could of found a dog more perfect for Buddy and me sheâs a joy and delight. Thank you for all the work you do and lives that you save.  Hello, It has been a wonderful month with Mia. She is the sweetest, most gentle dog I have ever met. She is the big baby in the family now, my kids adore her as she does them. Any time she takes a nap they make sure she is all tucked in. I honestly wasnât expecting things to go so smooth with her. Since she loves to run so much we had Invisible fence installed for her, so now she has almost 3 acres to run. I included her favorite tree in there, since she loves to pick walnuts off the tree herself and then have me throw it for her to retrieve over and over again until she has no more energy left. Mia loves to go in the car with us, we take her with us whenever we can. She is doing great with obedience classes, she know: sit, stay, come, up, treat, hold on (for my safety outside cause she actually pulled me out of my shoes one time), lay down, and working on a few others right now.
