Misty
Misty is doing very well. She and I completely Mind Your Manners level 1 through Cold Nose Companions in Chardon. The class uses positive reinforcement with high value treats and a clicker. She responds well to boiled chicken. We covered look, drop it, sit, down, wait, leave it, stay, recall, heel.
She loves the couch and riding in the car. She loves to run around outside and dig for chipmunks. I never let her out alone, she is always supervised. Unfortunately, she started lunging at cars when we went on our walks. I started using a no pull harness so I can handle her better in that situation. She doesn’t do well with small animals, so she is not allowed in the rabbit barn. I use the leave it command which works pretty well, but she and the rabbits can’t be left alone together. She does very well with pottying outside, no accidents. She’s still eating the Fromm and taking her thyroid meds. The vet ran blood work again and left her on her current dosage. Her coat is beautiful, especially for a blue. I think she definitely feels at home here. We love her! I will attach some pics. Sincerely, Michelle Watson
