Squiggy is a 1 year old Doberman mix who was surrendered to a shelter by his owner. Shelter life was scary and he could not understand why he was abandoned. Squiggy growled at people in fear, so he was scheduled to be euthanized. A wonderful shelter worker saw that this young dog was fearful, not aggressive. The shelter sent a desperate "hail mary" plea to Doberman Underground just 30 MINUTES before he was to be euthanized...and we said YES! Once Squiggy got to his foster home his personality immediately changed. He was timid and shy, but totally friendly with his new humans. In just a couple of days he settled in and showed us what a huge love bug he really is! Squiggy has excellent manners in the house and is completely crate trained. He is roamer and will need a fenced yard to give him a safe space to run and play. He might learn an underground fence but the correction collar might really scare him. Squiggy has really blossomed around the other dogs in his foster home and would really do best with a canine companion to boost his confidence. Squiggy is ready to choose his forever family.
