Rory is the perfect mix of Doberman and Standard Poodle. His mother is a purebred Doberman that we rescued from a horrific puppy mill situation in Georgia. Born just before St. Patty's Day, these puppies were born in a safe place and they will never know that terrible life.
Rory should be 70-80 pounds when full grown. Here is what we know about the blend of these two breeds:
- With proper training and socialization, they will be excellent family pets!
- They will have a calm temperament, with a more laid-back personality than a purebred Doberman
- Velcro and super affectionate
- Athletic and energetic. They would be great for runners, and would do well with agility training when they are old enough. They need lots of activities and exercise!
Adopting a puppy is a LOT of work! They need to be let out every 2-3 hours and will require ongoing training. These are energetic dogs that will need a lot of exercise. Prior Doberman or working breed ownership experience is required. Rory will need another dog in the home as well.
