Rudolph Hookworm treatment gave him projectile diarrhea for a couple weeks. It took about two more weeks to make it solid and I think he got sick of canned pumpkin during that time. Heâs back to normal, no issues. I honestly donât notice a difference now vs then. Iâll keep you posted. His final obedience training is going to be done over FaceTime...good grief. Rudy plays in our non-fenced in yard off the leash now. He loves to fetch and run full speed and roll in the grass. Heâs not ready for non-leash walks in the park yet...but doing very well. He knows a few tricks...high five is his favorite.
Raven-puppy Ravenâs first year has been a fast one! We celebrated his birthday in November & again on Jan 1 when he came to us! In November Raven had gastropexy surgery done at Pet Plex Animal Hospital in Buckeye Lake. My vet doesnât do that surgery. Raven did super after the surgery & healed nicely. The picture I shared with him in his doughnut ring was after the surgery. Somehow the new stuffed orange toy exploded in his bed & he was telling me all about. Lol. Raven got a new winter coat! And Santa brought everybody new toys for Christmas. Iâll send a video separate of him showing off the new fluffies. Raven is a wonderful, happy boy, who loves going on walks, playing fetch, car rides & people. Heâs smart & silly & makes me laugh every day. I adore this dog. Thank you for everything you do for these dogs! We appreciate & are so thankful we were able to adopt this magnificent boy.
Ruby Rose Tiffy is doing great, she is spoiled rotten and such a Daddyâs girl. I am chopped liver when he gets home! She does everything she can to get close to him, if she could get under his skin she would! She has a blue bunny she flips around and shakes side to side. She has become protective of the home, if the door bell rings she runs to the door and growls, then barks very loudly! The UPS guy had to have a packaged signed for and he came back the next day. I was working from home so I answered, he said âIs it safe, is your dog secured? I laughed and said âthis little girlâ? And pointed to her behind me. He said it sounded like a guard dog when I knocked the other day. I said she is a love bug! I had to laugh because the sounds that she makes are so opposite of her character. She will not run out the door and will not jump on people, she does not like cold weather, snow or rain. So when I get home sometimes there is an accident. But I have a heavy duty cleaner and if the weather is good she goes right out. She is not an outdoorsy dog. She does her business and runs the fence line and comes right back! Does well with the grandbabies, but when she has had enough she will go to the other room in her bed for alone time. Once they leave and she hears the door shut she comes and lays back on the couch next to me. I rub her so much for hours on end when I work from home or the weekends. She will not leave me alone at any given time, she has to be touched or petted! She has been good for us, we love her and look forward to her greetings. Her whole rear end wiggles! I must say she has been a perfect match, she is not hyper or active. She loves to be near us. She will take a walk every now and then but prefers to be indoors. I think she is going to be an only child, she does not care to be around other dogs. She does fine around them but my daughters dog and my neighbors dog she just doesnât show interest so I am on the fence about getting her a buddy. Itâs hard to believe that on 5/5/20 she will be with us for 1 year! Thank you for providing us the perfect fur baby, itâs like she has always been here. I have attached a few pics taken recently, she sleeps with her blanket and monkey every night, I kid you not!
Rio Wanted to send a few quick phots of Rio. As you can see Artemis loves her new big brother! Also attached a photo of their new customs made bunk beds !
Radar Radar is doing great! He has been the perfect match for our little family. Nancy did a fantastic job matching us up. He has brought us so much joy. He loves to cuddle on the couch and gives his sister, Lilly, a run for her money during play time. I am always amazed how gentle he is with her. He enjoys running in circles in the back yard and chewing on his antlers and bones. He gives nose rubs (no a kisser) and tail wags. He's not a big fan of dog parks, too much commotion. He has adjusted quite well to the loss of the eye but still a little jumpy of noises on the blind side. He is our protector and our sweet boy. Can't believe it's only been a year, seems like he's been here forever. Click a letter to find an animal or view all.
